The story behind AutoShine
I’m Jake, the face behind AutoShine. I started the business after years of looking after my own cars, always chasing that freshly detailed look – deep gloss, clean trim and a cabin that actually feels nice to sit in.
What began as a hobby quickly turned into word-of-mouth work for friends, family and local customers. Over time, that grew into a full-time mobile detailing service, covering everything from regular deep cleans for family cars to multi-stage machine polishing and ceramic coatings on performance and prestige vehicles.
My approach is simple: treat every car as if it were my own, use products I trust, and be honest about what’s realistic for your paint, your budget and how you actually use the vehicle.

Where I work
Day to day, I’m focused on local mobile detailing in Warwickshire and Worcestershire – covering areas such as Kenilworth, Leamington, Warwick, Coventry, Redditch and the surrounding villages.
For Premium and Ultimate exterior packages, I also travel further afield across England & Wales, with travel and accommodation factored into your quote.

Safe wash methods
Everything starts with safe washing and decontamination – snow foam, pre-wash, two-bucket wash and appropriate brushes and mitts to reduce wash marring as much as possible.
Quality polishes & machines
Dual-action polishers, suitable pad and polish combinations and panel-by-panel inspection to balance improvement with safety. The goal is always to improve your paint, not chase perfection at any cost.
Protection that suits you
From short-term sealants through to multi-year ceramic coatings, I’ll recommend a protection option that matches how long you keep the car, how you wash it and how you actually use it.
